I have always been a little hesitant to try this, and I have always hated how bad my black heads were. Then I watched a YouTube video and Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips was in it. I bought it and I haven't seen such great results in my pores. I feel like my nose is so clear, and I have always wondered why Pores and blackheads are so bad on the nose?? I should look into it, but I didn't know how much was actually in my skin. I LOVE this and it makes me feel better about my nose. not that I had a huge problem with it, but when I get a little thing in my head I can't stop thinking about it.... anyways. I use Deep Cleansing ULTRA because I have really tough skin and my pores are huge when I need to use this product. and seeing all the yucky stuff that comes off is just so cool. so gross, but I love those kinds of things. haha... so weird...

I think this is a GREAT foundation! Not to thick but covers so much so well! I haven't had a better liquid foundation. I don't even know what to say about this foundation. It is so perfect for my skin type and I have very inconsistant skin, sometimes I am oily and other days my skin is dry and it just works very well. It is not shiny, I don't like it when foundation has glitter in to to give you that "healthy" shine that everyone wants. It is quite pricey, but I think I will be repurchasing this foundation again, and usually I never do that with foundations. I have only done it to purminurals. and that is my top foundation brand, but not for the past few months. Makeup Forever HD foundation. just wow!

I have always used Annabelles black eyeliner, the rest of the colours all suck, but the black liner is actually very decent... anyways, I have been really liking the waterproof liner, it come off really black, I don't know how waterproof it actually is, but it comes off very very smooth! a problem with it though is that it constantly needs sharpening. But I like it anyways. I think it is a good buy, but not if you want waterproof... but I have never tested it in water so I can't really say. :)

I am usually not a fan of eye makeup removers, but I have been liking this one. I first tried it because I borrowed it from my mom, and I just wanted to use it ever since. so, I bought it... :) I find it really gental, but it gets my eye makeup off really fast... I don't think it was too oily... but I wash my face after anyways, so it doesn't matter too much. I can't remember the price, but it isn't unreasonable. It is for all skin types... I don't know how much that means to you because it is not specificly based.

Another lotion from Lush.
Helping Hands is a hand lotion, I would say it is like Sympathy For The Skin but for hands. The guy at the store told me that this lotion was designed with nurses in mind. It is meant for people that wash their hands often and are always using their hands. Which I would say is perfect for me. I love it when hand lotions do the job you want them to yet keep your hands dry so you can still do things. I have only used it twice so far, so this isn't an acurate review, but so far it is amazing. For a small container it is kinda pricey $18.95CAN, but I hope it is worth it.

Lush is one of my favorite stores. :)
Sea Spray is a Hair Mist and it's Sea Water and Sea Salt, to give hair texture, hold and shine. it also smells AMAZING!!!!! like it smells so so so good!! I haven't tried it, but I will and I have high hops for this product. I have natually wavey hair, although some days it is straight and some days it is curly... who knows what my hair naturally is... :) but I like it when I don't have to heat style and I think this product will be good to spray in my hair either the day I don't wash my hair or the day I do wash my hair. I like to have texture in my hair sometimes, my hair is really soft and full of moisture that sometimes I can't get enough texture in it and a spray like this I think will help, even day old hair is too soft... This product was $12.95CAN. I think this will be a great summer product to give beach like waves.

Another Lush product. :)
Roots is a hair treatment. One of their newest products. It it more of a scalp treatment, and it smells AMAZING!!!! my hair smells so good right now!! It's base is Peppermint. if you like peppermint then this should make you love it more! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it, and my hair seems to have a lot of volume right now. not something I go out of my way to get, but if you are a person who likes volume then this might be good for you. It is meant for fine, thin hair, but I have thick course hair and it is still amazing! I had to wet my hair a little to make it spread more though, but it was okay. Love this product. It was $19.95CAN. So worth it!

I went shopping at Lush and I am going to blog about the few new things I am going to try.
Sympathy For The Skin is a body lotion, it's main ingredients is, Banana, Sandlewood, and Cocoa Butter. I used it for the first time today and it is AMAZING!!! so so so soft!! so silky and I think it smells AMAZING! It is meant for dry skin, but what lotion isn't? I can feel it on my skin, yet it is soaked into my skin so nicely. It smells amazing!! It is $26.95CAN a little bit pricey but I believe it is worth it! You have not tried a true lotion until you try this one. I am very picky with my lotions and this one I recommend 100%

I bet everyone has started school again. Wanna know what I wore?
Well... I decided I would be comfertable. I don't like getting all dressed up right away becuase I try to find my classes and whatever. so I just wore my skinny jeans, black t-shirt and my healed boots with my cross body backpack. No reason to dress uncomfertably. I just had my hair straigh and my brown feather earrings. No necklace. no bracelets. just simple so when I came home I could just take everything off put on my pajamas and lay on the couch and rest. My make up was just a simple basic neutral. just a browny gold, black liner on the top, black liner on the lower lash line and white on the water line to open my eyes a little more because I was so tired. I brought my National Geographic magazine to read on the bus and train and in some classes because every class was very repetative and I couldn't just stare at the dust in the air. So I had that... I am taking Bio 30, Chem 20/30, and Math 20-3, if anyone was curious. I am technically graduated from high school, I just didn't take these classes. I took math but the course changed so now I am stuck doing it over again and I guess I am stuck taking 20-3... which is pretty pathetic... anyways. maybe it is a good thing. a steping stone. anyways. I kept my school clothes layed back... Now I am hoping I won't get into the habit of wearing sweat pants to school again. I probably will once the snow starts piling up and making it harder to go to school...
Enhance Your Beauty, Don't Cover It.
I think I need to change the ^above^ statement. I don't like it... I need something like... Don't let people influent you, do it for yourself... Like wearing sweat pants... I love mine but wearing them out is kinda a lazy move, but I love wearing them to school... although... mine now have a whole in them and I soon need to invest in new ones... anyways... I will think of something.Brittniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09350612109578322031noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1107795113175821278.post-44858383842028956712012-08-01T20:10:00.000-06:002012-08-01T20:10:00.321-06:00Purses/backpacksI swap bags ALL the time. I never carry a purse and a backpack. I hate it. having two bags at once is so annoying. So... I will tell you the bags I have been swaping with and what kind of things I put in it. This will probably be a long blog...
1. Backpack- this is for school. of course I have my books and pencils, but I also have little pouches that have different things in it. first there is the pouch with tampons and what not in it and I never not have any. I always have a tampon or something just incase. anyways. I have another pouch with advil, tissue and bandaids. another pouch with a nail file and something else... I never look in it... haha... and another pouch with lip gloss, lip chap, bandaids, pony tails, bobby pins, something else... hmm... ya... I also carry an agenda. my wallets, my glasses and sunglasses. I think thats about it...
2. Sleepover bag- I got this bag from thesak.com and I can't find it on there right now. it was a bag I got 2 Christmas's ago, and it is a huge bag, ment to be a sleepover bag for one night, but I don't use it for that. I use it as a purse and sometimes a backpack. I put everything I have in the 1st one in this bag minus the school stuff if I take to school if I am not going to school. haha. but usually I carry this bag if I feel I want to take a bunch of stuff... haha... like sunscreen or something... :)
3. Crossbody bag- I got this bag from Aldo. It is a small square bag that the strap goes across your body. It is like WAY smaller then the 2nd bag. so all that fits is my wallets and sunglasses case. I rotate my glasses if I take this bag. if I am outside I will put my glasses in the sunglasses case and wear my sunglasses and vice versa when I am inside. and then a lip gloss and lip chap. bandaids... nothing really because it doesn't really have the space.
4. Crossbody bag- Only my wallet and lip gloss go in this one. it is from Spring. this bag is kinda like a hippy style bag... so when I am feeling like being Earthy I use it... number 3 is... I think... it reminds me of a sailer... haha... its just striped with light brown and cream. which should not remind me of sailors, but it does...
hmm... I thought I used more then four bags... I have more then four... I am always buying purses and then giving away the ones I don't use... I have a lazy purse that is TNA and I love this purse, it's kinda ugly, but I love it... I put pretty much the things from purse 2 in this purse, even though it is smaller...

I have been buying new clothes and I have been trying to be more brave about the clothes I buy. I have gone through a faze of lazy clothes and now I am craving to get back into a kinda fashiony kinda look, but still comfertable. My most favorite summer outfit to wear right now is my peachy coral booty shorts and my floral loose t-shirt with my white sandles. I love to wear this maybe with a black t-shirt and my shark velcro sneakers. and my hair is usually down and wavey... i have been trying not to use heat on it. I go through fazes with my hair too. last week i am pretty sure i used a little heat, mostly hair drying... that is my favorite outfit right now.

It is a grey with I am pretty sure a hint of purple. but it is so nice and smooth and it looks good! it would be a perfect back colour when you put a pattern on. Love it.

Do you care if your skin is healthy and nice?? I remember when my brother L. was a baby and my mom bought baby lotion. I was the only one that used it and I LOVED it!! that was like 7 years ago. and now I just bought one for myself and I love it. my skin is feeling so good. I don't put it on in the morning becuase I don't want to smell like a baby. I do it on days where I am only staying at home and at night and then I shower the next day... I love it.

I love it. I think I am going to put it back on my nails. I love the colour. I have never had such a bright colour before and I am so happy I tried it. It goes on smoothly and does not leave lines. I have never tried essie products before and I love them. This Coral pink is just wonderful!!!

I believe I spent about $7.00CAN. But I can not be sure. But I love these they brighten the face, but I have never really checked my face after using them... haha... kinda silly... but thats what they are supposed to do. and I wrote earier about Korres Milk Protein wipes and those are great to but i prefer Yes to Blueberries and the wipes also smell better... there is also 30 wipes compaired to the Korres that has 25 wipe. so Yes is cheaper, has more wipes, smells better, works I think better, supposed to brighten the face, and it says it is age refreshing... so I think it has manny benefits. I purchased the mild formila plus Aloe Vera and it's good. I use it to lighten my arm hairs. My arm hair is not that dark, but I can see it, no one else can, but it bothers me and drives me crazy, so I decided to bleach the hair and it worked amazingly. You don't even have to use a lot. and it doesn't hurt or dye your skin. I thought it did, but it didn't. haha. I imagined it. haha. anyways. it is good for facial hair... I know women do get dark hair on their face that doesn't grow so there is no point in waxing or shaving so this product would be good for that... anyways this is a great product for dark excess unwanted hair.

It's beautiful again and makes my shadows look so good when they are on top of it This colour is like a pearly pink/gold I would say. it's amazing. all my colours look great and again it does not crease and my makeup lasts all day. it's wonderful. I have tried other cream shadows and they crease so bad, even if I use a base, and with these Benefit creams I don't even use a base. it's amazing. I totally recommened this shadow. and I want more. the colours are not very strong on their own, but they look great with other colours. You just have to trust me.

This product also makes my face feel kinda yucky... and it smells funny, but it has cleansed my face so well and takes my make up off so nicely!! and it feels so I don't know. Gentle... GREAT product for make-up removing and cleansing, but smell and after feeling is yucky... so if you can get passed that then it's awesome for dry skin.

Maybelline Mascara The MEGA PLUSH volume express, in Blackest Black I believe. and it is the BEST mascara I have ever used!!! It is perfect for my eyelashes. I just love it and the colour of the tube is a kinda turquoise colour and it's the best all around. I just love it. makes my lashes look so good!!! I don't often change my mascara, but I loved the tube of this and it was cheaper then my regular L'Oreal mascara's. I am pretty sure the package said the mascara was mouse inhanced to give more volume and I love love love it!!! amazing! I think I am going to be buying this mascara again. it was $9.99CAN and my L'Oreal mascara was I think $13.99CAN so... YAY!

I don't even know... I have been so busy... and I am still not going to post pictures.
I have decided I will write what it is about and you can inspire yourself with how the makeup should look. So it does not look wrong.
So, in the summer people don't really want to wear heavy makeup, everything is fresh and opening up. well... I am not sure about foundation because everyone likes what they like, but I like to use a tinted moisturizer and that keeps everything very simple and then you just cover blemishes more with concealer. Do what you are comfertable with when it comes to your all over make up.
Now the eyes, you want to prime your eyes because in the summer when it is hot you tend to sweat and you want your eye makeup to stay on and not crease.
High light the inner corner of your eye with white and spread it with your ring finger. it is the most gentle finger to use. Take a coral, I use a shimmery coral colour and put it all over your eye lids. pink works. light colours in general. something that will make your eyes pop. Don't use a heavy blue, a soft light blue would be best if you prefer colour, or green. Take your eye liner and line as close as you can to the lashes the upper outer part of your eye. go about 1/4 - 2/4 in and then you will lighten the dark line with a eye liner brush to lighten the black and to straighten out any bumpy lines. then the last step is to curl your lashes and put mascara on. some days i do put a pinky nude colour on my water line just to open the eyes a little bit more, I don't use white because sometimes it can be to bold.
for cheeks again keep it light. if you are doing a tinted moisturizer instead of full coverage your cheek colour should be poking through and you just need to bump it up with a pink or whatever colour you feel comfertable with.
If you are not comfertable wearing makeup yet but you want to try and practice summer is the best time. no school and you don't have to see anyone but family. try a different look every day and see what works best with your eyes. a great makeup starter is the most basic. Mascara! I always make sure I have mascara on. It opens up your eyes and just gives you a lift.
Enjoy this summer, and hope you try something spunky and creative.Brittniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09350612109578322031noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1107795113175821278.post-58757814330613390662011-10-21T18:14:00.003-06:002011-10-21T18:20:05.373-06:00AppleDo you think Apple is fashion now?? haha. probably sounds crazy. I mean like an iPhone or iPod something mac maybe... but do you think that could be considered fashion?? like... you ALWAYS have your phone with you, so people see your phone... if you have a super old flip people think... wow... they need to upgrade. kinda like... if a person wore clothes from the 70's then people are like... wow, they need to go shopping... haah. like... it is almost the same thing.

I don't understand... I wonder what people think about my clothes and my phone... I am not very fashionable, and my phone is so far 2 years old and it doesn't do anything... it is just an ordinary phone... not a flip not a slide, just a phone... all I do is text on it... maybe call once and a while... should I be upgrading?? it isn't an ugly phone... if that is what you are thinking... but I mean... it is no blackberry or iPhone. and I have to say I want the iPhone so badly... but is it uncool to have a normal phone??

does this even relate to beauty?? I think it does in a way...

Enhance Your Beauty, Don't Cover It.Brittniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09350612109578322031noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1107795113175821278.post-31577956447544516572011-10-17T10:44:00.002-06:002011-10-17T10:49:51.953-06:00NaturalWell...My eye lashes hurt today... bummer.... so... I did my foundation like normal. white on the water line. Brown on the lash line and then just a little mascara. no curling. that might be what is hurting my eyes... who knows... i have also been putting on lots of mascara on the last 2 weeks... and then taking it off at night isn't so easy, so that might be the problem... So I am going to work with a very natural look.. I hate it when my eyes hurt from makeup. and sometimes I have very sensitive eyes... like I get sty's (if that is how you spell Sty, and if it isn't hopefully you know what I am trying to say) and I get eye infections. it's just gross... so I try hard to make sure I get new mascara all the time... and clean my brushes... and sharpen my eye pencils... I try not to share makeup... haha... I rarely share makeup... but I don't know. sometimes I will just take something from my mom and other times she will take something from me... my grandma used my makeup all the time... hopefully her eyes stay okay... but never with friends. I make sure everything is cleaned and okay for them if they are using my things... and I don't think I use any of their eye makeup...

anyways. natural look today.

Enhance Your Beauty, Don't Cover It.Brittniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09350612109578322031noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1107795113175821278.post-2769555420508057702011-10-15T09:49:00.003-06:002011-10-15T09:55:47.383-06:00Long day. When I have a long day and seeing people I usually like to do my makeup all nice and pretty, but when it is work, I don't like to have to much makeup on. I find it frustrating, I don't know why. but today i have to work at the Bakery, and right after I am going to babysit for a family and I don't want to look sloppy... but if I was just at the bakery I wouldn't care as much, so my makeup today is

-regular concealer foundation routine. primer first.
-eye base, keeps everything lasting longer
-white on my water line. makes eyes look bigger and more awake. and the whites of the eyes appear whiter.
-I line my crease with brown liner and then spread it with my right ring finger, gives a little dimension.
- black liner, stay close to the lashes. today I made it a little too thick, and I didn't want to fix it, so my liner is thick, but I suggest a thin line.
-curl lashes. I curl about 2 times in different spots on my right lashes then 3 times in different spots on my left lashes... my left lashes have a hard time curling. not sure why.
-black mascara (or whatever you like to use) I put like 3 layers on... it could be to much, but I wanted them more noticeable then the thick liner.

anyways. that is how I did my makeup today.

Enhance Your Beauty, Don't Cover It.Brittniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09350612109578322031noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1107795113175821278.post-19339654138208140692011-10-14T10:05:00.002-06:002011-10-14T10:11:59.778-06:00Work.Well... I work in a place where I am ALWAYS running around doing things and it is also very hot. The makeup I wear is VERY simple. I have my foundation and everything as usual. and then for my eyes I just conceal the dark circles and lately I have used either. white on the water line and then just black liner close to the lashes. I line my water line with black and then top water line thing... forget what it is called... I line that with black then Blue on my lash line. and today I have blue on the water line and black on the top water line part and then my lashes are curled and mascara as always. and then a nice warm blush. If you have a busy job then you should be priming your face and eyes just so it lasts longer and you dont have to touch up all the time.

Sorry again for not updating lately... I have been busy.

Enhance Your Beauty, Don't Cover It.Brittniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09350612109578322031noreply@blogger.com0
