youtube.

Youtube is a very easy way to learn how to do makeup. there are many different artists with different ways of doing things and many different tricks. My personal favorites are juicystar07-Blair Fowler, allthatglitters21-Elle Fowler, and michellephan-Michelle Phan, they have helped me build on what I know, or knew about makeup and different techniques. and from that I have come up with my favorite ways to do makeup, and learned more about what goes with my eye colour, skin colour, and so on. I still have things to learn and things to add to my collection that I just can not get myself to buy, like bronzer, I dont know why but I ant get myself to buy bronzer. but I like what it does to my face, and so on, but I just dont want to spend my money on it. I probably will soon, but I just dont want to... haha. I also dont want to ask someone, i dont know why... again, I probably will. and that is another thing you can do, just walk into a makeup store and right away talk to someone, pick someone that you think you would like or something, like a friendly looking person to you, and just ask them, TONS of questions if you have them, they should be experts. When I walk into sephoras I always ask people about foundation, and if you dont like what they suggest, just say so, and try another. if you have a lot of money to spend on makeup but you havent bought much, and you want something simple but that you can amp up at night, ask them to gave you a make over type thing, or suggestions ask why they suggest it, and so on. when I ask questions I ask LOTS of questions. i need details, i dont know why. but I think the key is being comfertable with the person. they have to be friendly, and understand what you are looking for. if you are new to makeup, like just thinking about buying something but dont know what to start with, then I suggest mascara, I started with clear, then went to black, but thought it was too harsh, so brown, then black, now i like BLACK! but brown is good to start with, it isnt heavy. then maybe go to... i would say light shadow, not heavy. then try liners... last thing should be foundation. but I suggest never getting it. even if you have skin problems. well... maybe a tinted moisturizer, but not straight foundation. I dont think people REALLY need it. truly. I think it is a waste, but if you feel you need coverage then a tinted moisturizer. then everything else, like bronzer and eye brow stuff and concealer, and whatever else, but first mascara. I think that is the best to start with. then last foundation. anyways, hope this has helped you youngsters out there. and no i do not have youtube to show you or talk to you about starting out. everyone has been young. dont be embarassed.
